Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Arborist Foreman or Journeyman Level Climber to join our team. This role is ideal for a skilled professional who thrives in a supportive, small-company environment and is passionate about tree care. You will lead and perform a variety of arboricultural tasks, ensuring safety, efficiency, and exceptional quality in every project.
Key Responsibilities:
Climbing & Pruning: Execute advanced climbing techniques for tree maintenance, trimming, and crown work to enhance tree health and appearance.
Tree Removal: Safely perform complex and hazardous removals using rigging, aerial lifts, and specialized lowering techniques.
Specialized Equipment Operation: Operate chainsaws, chippers, stump grinders, aerial lifts, and other advanced tools efficiently and safely.
Team Leadership: Supervise and train crew members, fostering a positive and safety-focused work environment.
Customer Engagement: Collaborate with clients to assess needs, provide professional advice, and ensure complete satisfaction.
Plant Health Care: Diagnose tree health issues and implement eco-friendly solutions, such as pest and disease management or fertilization treatments.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in arboriculture, with expertise in climbing and advanced rigging techniques.
Certifications: ISA Certified Arborist preferred; CDL or willingness to obtain is a plus.
Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
Physical Requirements: Capable of performing strenuous outdoor tasks in varying weather conditions.

Compensation:
Hourly wage ranges from $30 to $60, depending on experience and qualifications.
